When I approached W&H’s Fashion Editor, Rojuan Devos (RJ), asking about our take on tulle, RJ promptly remarked “we absolutely love tulle!” Why do we love it? “When women wear tulle, it unlocks our most whimsical, fairytale dreams.”
Local designers like Saarah Jasmin Couture and Tulle du Jour have been shining the spotlight on the magic of tulle, and tulle style has transferred to the fast fashion market, with large fashion retailers like Zara dabbling in the modern-day woman’s approach to tulle: elegant, but wearable.
“Pop on a tulle crop with jeans and call it a lunch outfit,” says RJ.
