Fashion month sat in the ‘what happens next’ waiting room for the last two years after the pandemic cancelled in-person shows.
Talks arose that Fashion Weeks (of which the month is comprised) might have lost their relevancy as digital became more survival-focused than a fun side hustle.
However, 2022 saw the most prestigious runways open once more and with them, two years of pent-up creativity flourished.
Not everything was a jaw-dropping moment. Not all the garments were bespoke either. However, what was present throughout all the major fashion capitals was energy.
