The Sun Met 2017 was Sun International’s first go at sponsoring South Africa’s greatest horse-racing event, along with Mumm champagne.
This year, the theme was Decades of Glamour from the 1920s all the way to the noughties. By the looks of it, the local fashion designers and stylists clearly enjoyed the creative freedom.
Our favourite celebrity looks from the Sun Met 2017:
Jeannie D
The Top Billing presenter wore a one-shoulder design by Warrick Gautier.
Her jewellery was from First Diamonds in Cape Town and her dazzling clutch was from Mimco.
