DIY Remedies
1: Camomile flowers and lavender essential oils have a calming effect on the body and mind. For a soothing bedtime bath, add a teaspoon of camomile flowers and 10 drops of camomile essential oil, with 5 drops of lavender essential oil.
2: Epsom salts enhance sleep as they replenish magnesium levels in the body, which helps produce serotonin, the chemical that creates the feeling of relaxation.
3: Make your own pillow spray: in a small spray bottle, blend 30ml water with 10 drops of your favourite essential oils and 30ml vodka, which helps to mix the oils more effectively.
