Building on the ever-growing demand for hand-crafted, passionately-made products, bought directly from those who make them, Kamers will again introduce dozens of new creative ‘maker’ entrepreneurs in over five shows during 2016.
“If ever my positivity for this country dips, I only need to revisit our 200-strong waiting list of talented people whom we audition every quarter for out shows,” says Wanda du Toit, one of Kamers’ founders. “The creativity and self-starting energy that is all over South Africa, is extraordinarily encouraging.”
This lucky 13th year is set to be one of real growth for SA’s most dynamic pop-up retail platform – one that gives hundreds of talented entrepreneurs a supportive and nurturing environment within which to cut their teeth in retail.
