It’s the holidays and Cresta Shopping Centre is excited to be a part of your time off.
Until 24 December, the shopping centre will be a merry, festive wonderland with something magical for everyone.
The newly renovated Cresta Shopping Centre has been decked out to the nines with strings of lights, shiny baubles, and even some life-size fairy lights reindeer and a carriage in the Food and Entertainment Court – perfect for magical photo moments for the whole family!
Activities suited to everyone
There’s more for you to imagine more this festive season with not only over 260 stores, but also additional bespoke activities, created by Cresta for shoppers.
Bring your kids to the family zone in the Banking Court until 24 December to enjoy festive craft activities, face painting, and to tell Santa what they wish for. They can also get their photo taken with Santa between 10am and 6pm.
For a decadent and magical experience, pop into the #MakeMyMagnumSA Pleasure Bar in the Food and Entertainment court to indulge your senses. Create your very own signature Magnum ice-cream complemented with many deliciously delightful toppings – absolutely mouth-watering!
Giving back to the community
This time of year is all about giving and generosity, so Cresta has made giving back easier than ever for shoppers with their Charitable Festive Tree. In the Kindness Corner – outside FNB – is a giant tree bookshelf and reading corner that allows shoppers to donate new or pre-loved books that will be donated to a children’s home in the Cresta Community.
Why not give the gift of literature and education this year by donating cash (cash or credit card) to go towards books? In the Kindness Corner, also, children’s stories will be read to those looking for a moment to pause, relax and enjoy. Reading times are at 9am, 11am, 1pm, 3pm and 5pm.
It’s in the details
The Cresta Festive Elves have thought of all the tiny, merry details this year to ensure that shoppers have a pleasant experience at Cresta. Friendly gift-wrappers will be at three gift-wrapping stations around the centre to turn your shopping into beautifully wrapped gifts for free.
Performances by dazzling ballerinas and Nutcracker marching bands will add to the festive atmosphere as well. Selfie spots around the centre provide photo opportunities and give shoppers the chance to win a R5 000 Cresta gift card by simply uploading their festive pictures onto Facebook, Instagram or Twitter with the hashtag #MerryCresta.
