Multiple sources have reported that celebrity couple Jennifer Lopez and Ben Affleck will be publicly announcing their split soon.

The couple is “expected to announce their marriage is officially over by the end of the summer,” as per Page Six.
A friend of the couple told the celebrity news source the relationship, dating back to their first love affair that never reached the altar, has run its course.
“They’ve turned the page on all the unfinished business of 20 plus years ago. They’ve seen things through to the end — and they know for sure now that they are not built for the long haul,” the friend said, as per Page Six . “No further unanswered questions. They’ve seen all they need to see, and it’s over.”
“In the end, it’s gonna be the most elaborate and expensive exercise in closure ever,” the friend added.

Despite sources close to the couple reporting rumours of their split to the media, the celebrity couple have not made any public statements regarding the matter.
Ben Affleck has been spotted in public without his wedding ring, and the couple are spending their summers apart, as per People Magazine.
The couple were first engaged in November 2002, but they never reached the altar. Excessive media attention was reportedly the reason why the ‘Bennifer’ wedding was cancelled just days before its September 2003 date.
Affleck was married to Jennifer Garner for 13 years before divorcing in 2018. In this time they had daughters Violet and Seraphina, as well as son Samuel.
Jennifer Lopez has was married to Marc Antony from 2004 to 2014. They share twins Emme and Maximilian.
The couple reconciled their love in 2021, almost 20 years after they called off their initial engagement. After reconciling, Affleck popped the question with a gorgeous green diamond ring.
The couple went on to share an intimate Las Vegas wedding with their closest family members in 2022. Later that year, they celebrated with a grand Georgia bash at Aflleck’s lavish estate.
August 2024 will mark the couple’s second anniversary as a married couple.
