A recent tragedy has been unearthed in Johannesburg after working men followed an unbearable stench that would reveal something devastating – a body of a woman.
Six women’s bodies were found in total after police arrived at the building in Joburg CBD on Sprinz Avenue. The victims were semi-naked.
According to the anonymous man who discovered the first body, all of their hands and feet were tied up, amongst other indications of sexual assault.
The bodies had been scattered in cars and waste bins, per News24. Police traced a suspect (21) after making the connection between him and one of the women who was a missing person case.
The father of the alleged serial killer has since revealed that he wants to disown his son. In speaking to SABC in an emotional interview, he shared:
“If you have a family member like this, people want to understand what has happened. Everyone is responsible for their own actions. Aged 21, he is old enough to understand.”
The young man is believed to have lived in the same building where the bodies were discovered per The South African.
The women are believed to have been sex workers.
