Knysna Literary Festival
Now in its ninth year, the Knysna Literary Festival is a delightful melange of talks from authors across fiction, non-fiction, and cooking, writing workshops, delicious cuisine from local restaurants and caterers, and even wine tastings. The festival also caters for children’s imaginations, with a fun puppet show being a highlight of last year’s festival.

Franschhoek Literary Festival
For three days each year, the beautiful Franschhoek becomes a mecca for some of SA’s most prolific writers, international authors, and literary buffs. Open Book Festival
On the map as one of SA’s biggest book events, the festival attracts both local and international authors, the likes of Nadia Hashimi, author of A House without Windows, who made an appearance last year.
