Here are some of the fashion brands making an impact during COVID-19
Polo South Africa
Polo South Africa has donated 250 000 preventative face masks to the City of Cape Town. The cotton fabric masks are to be distributed to commuters and essential services across the country. The fashion brand has set a team in their shirt factory in Atlantis and the factory will continue with production until the pledge has been met and masks have been delivered to most parts across the country.

H&M
As the Covid-19 pandemic evolves, the H&M foundation donated $500 000 to The Convid-19 Solidarity response fund, initiated on March 13th.
“We are all experiencing an extraordinary situation which requires as many as possible to get involved to enable response efforts. The H&M Foundation’s contribution will be used to protect vulnerable patients and health workers in the front line through the establishment of intensive care units and access to protective equipment. We encourage everyone that want to help to get involved,” said Diana Amini, Global Manager, H&M Foundation.

Mango
Mango strongly believes that sticking together during these trying times is key. They took the initiative to help combat the spread of the virus and donated 2 million masks to hospitals in Spain.
LVMH
The French luxury corporation is expending their production services of perfume and clothing brands to donate several hundred thousand bottles of hydro-alcoholic sanitising gel at the ICR factory in Lodi, Italy. Louis Vuitton France are to produce hundreds of thousands of non-surgical face masks.

Ralph Lauren
The Ralph Lauren corporate foundation committed to USD 10 million to Covid-19 relief. Part of the donation will go towards the Vogue/CFDA fund for Small Fashion Businesses. The American brand will also produce USD 250 000 each for masks and hospital gowns.
