Ross and Rachel still hold a place in most Friends fans’ hearts. How could they not? We were on the rollercoaster of their relationship for a good 10 years!
So, when David Schwimmer made a playful jest at Aniston’s new promotional post for her ethical haircare line, LolaVie, fans of the couple and hit series couldn’t help but feel a magnetic sense of nostalgia.
Here’s what happened
In a soft launch post, Aniston shared a subtle snap of herself taking a shower with the caption ‘Something’s coming’ and the date of the launch. While most of her followers took to share exciting reactions (including Lisa Kudrow) David Schwimmer took things one step further.

Aniston’s former on-screen love interest made his own version of the post tagging Aniston with the caption ‘a towel I hope?’ and fans are eating it up.

“STOPPP IT MY HEART’ some wrote, while others shared that it reminded them of Ross’s false tan episode (the only that left most of us traumatised from fake tans for some time).
Aniston responded with a full of fun “Schwim!? Trying to steal my thunder!?” and the internet reacted by demanding more of the interactions between the two.
Although many would have liked the ‘something’s coming’ to be a teaser for a new Friends episode, we’ll settle for a new launch from LolaVie.
Aniston’s brand, which spoils consumers with vegan, cruelty-free and ethical products, is the labour of love of the seasoned actress whose hair has been the talk of salons since her 90’s haircut dubbed “The Rachel” became iconic (and still lives on in virality through the recent early 90s revival).
However, when it comes to hair icons from Aniston’s point of view, she looks up to the likes of Brigitte Bardot, Elle Macpherson and Valerie Bertinelli as she recently revealed to Allure.
Still, Aniston’s place in the hairstyle hall of fame can’t be ignored. As for Schwimmer, perhaps his next social media post will be his own capitalisation on ‘The Ross’ (a tanning collection, hopefully, done right unlike that episode).
