Readers were invited to an exclusive summer celebration with Busby Leather. It was a fun day of shopping and tea-drinking, with a fabulous cooking demo and an insightful trends talk by our fashion editor.
Held at The Meat Co in Melrose Arch, which was an old farm house that was beautifully transformed into the top-class restaurant it is today, the day’s ambience was intimate and welcoming. w&h fashion editor Ashleigh Van Der
Westhuizen kick-started the activities with a trends talk on summer’s must-have fashion items – including which chic Busby Leather handbags to go after!
Then, a gourmet demo appealed to everyone’s inner foodie, as Chef Lesley Jacobs of FBI Chef School & Pâtisserie Academy showed us how to make scrumptious dishes.
After that everyone got to shop for great buys from various retailers, including Busby Leather and, many make-up artists’ go-to brand, Kryolan.
The day was rounded off with a splendid high tea – what bliss!
