Ingredients
- 2 tbsp olive oil
- 600 grams sliced beef
- 1 onion, thinly sliced
- 200 grams button mushrooms, sliced
- 2 tbsp butter
- 2 tbsp flour
- 400ml beef stock
- 1 tbsp dijon mustard
- 2 tbsp worcestershire sauce
- ¼ cup sour cream
- To serve
- Serve with cooked rice
- Freshly chopped parsley
Instructions
1 HEAT some of the oil in a frying pan, until smoking. Add the sliced beef in bataches and cook until brown for about 1 minute .Remove the beef.
2 ADD butter to the pan. Once melted, add the onions and cook until soft. Add the mushrooms and cook until soft.
3 STIR in flour and mix well until all the flour is stirred in. Add the beef stock and mix. Cook for 5 minutes.
4 STIR in dijon mustard, worcestershire sauce and sour cream.
5 SERVE with cooked rice and top with chopped parsley.
