Ingredients
- 200g puff pastry
- 1 egg, beaten
- 75g blue cheese, such as Roquefort
- 5tbsp sesame seeds
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 200 C, 180 C fan. Roll out the pastry to 2mm thick. Brush with the beaten egg, then prick all over with a fork. Cut into triangles or diamond shapes, about the size of a small cracker. Place on baking sheets and bake for about 5 minutes or until lightly browned. While the pastry is cooking, break the cheese into chunks and crumble into peanut size pieces.
- After 5 minutes, take out the pastry and sprinkle with the blue cheese and sesame seeds. (At this point you can freeze the pastry triangles, then bake from frozen for the final few minutes.) Bake in oven for 2 to 3 minutes until the cheese is just melting. Serve at once.
