Hello fellow foodies, have you tried yoghurt bark yet? It’s the perfect frozen treat to satisfy your sweet tooth without any guilt. Plus, it’s super easy to make.
If you’re sitting there wondering “What the heck is yoghurt bark?” I’ll me break it down for you, as a yoghurt bark convert.
It’s basically frozen yogurt, jazzed up with all kinds of toppings — you take your pick. The combos you come up with are the main characters of a good yoghurt bark.
@fayes.edit I’m trying to eat a healthier balance diet and I find this frozen yogurt bark helps when I’ve sweet cravings, I keep a box of it in my freezer #healthysnacks #healthysnackrecipe #snackrecipe #fyp #easyrecipesathome #easysnackideas #easysnacks #snackidea #dessertrecipe ♬ Golden Hour: Piano Version – Andy Morris
To make yoghurt bark, grab your fave yogurt – mine is plain Greek, but you can use any kind – and spread it thinly on a piece of parchment paper that lines a baking pan or a flat surface that you can easily pop into the freezer.
When you smear your yoghurt onto parchment paper, don’t smear too thick — it’ll take longer to freeze. The thinner the better, in my opinion. About 2/3 a cup of yoghurt should get you far enough.
Then comes the fun part: add your toppings! Go for classic combos like banana, peanut butter, and a dark chocolate drizzle, or mix it up with grapes, muesli, nuts, sliced tinned peaches, blueberries, or raspberries – anything your heart desires.

Here are a few topping combos I’ve tried that I think you’ll love:
- Peanut butter and banana: Honestly, peanut butter and banana is always a winning combo!
- Raspberry and dark chocolate: For a sweet and tart flavour explosion.
- Mango and chili powder: Yes, you read that right. Trust me, the spicy kick is worth it.
- And of course, you can’t forget the classic favourite: Nutella and strawberries. Not as healthy, but so delicious!

Once you’ve added your toppings, it’s time to pop your baking pan into the freezer for at least 4 hours. Keep an eye on your bark, you don’t want it too freeze too solid. If it does, leave it out for a few minutes to soften up slightly.
