Have you ever walked into a clothing store and gotten déjà vu? You stand there for a split second and wonder whether you’ve walked into a clothing store or straight back into the 90s, even the 70s. Fashion has a sneaky way of perplexing your mind like that!
As more and more trends are recirculated, we’ve rounded up 4 trends that might just make the timeless mark:
1. Denim wide legs are here to stay
There are certain styles that, for years, have been recycled by the fashion industry. While Brittany Spears rocked her bleached, ripped-bottom denim wide leg in the 90s, this style has made its comeback a few times to the point where it’s styled for every occasion, either being paired with sneakers or some cute heels.
2. Sports luxe forever
The ‘old but new’ sports luxe fashion trend was and is the perfect solution for the person who wants to feel comfy but look put together at the same time.
We saw this ‘relaxed’ look in the earlier 2000s, butin the 2020s it’s been switched up to have a bolder style.
Statement wide leg cuts, bright colours and active sets are available everywhere. Not to mention the flare rendition!
3. Bubble trouble
The 80s, 90s and early 2000s all saw bubble dresses rise to popularity. And, just when we thought we’d shaken it, it made a comeback yet again in the 2020s.
The bubble trouble looks can be shopped in maxi dress styles, or thigh-skimming minis. Whether you’re going for daytime casual or a night out, bubble fever is back!
4. Leather on the loose
Whether you’re going for a biker chic or eighties edge, a leather jacket is always a must-have. The leather trend is one that seems to reappear with every chance it gets, and 2023 is no different.
No longer necessarily a statement piece, leather looks have become something of a staple for the modern day. Structured and a sure way to elevate any look, leather has solidified its place in fashion as timeless.
