All the style inspo you need to rock those cowboy boots

Howdy, partner! If you haven’t already noticed, cowboy boots are everywhere at the moment, and we’re loving it! The style has been dubbed ‘coastal cowgirl’ by fashionistas on TikTok, but that doesn’t mean the trend is limited to summer…

We’ve seen a few gorgeous winter looks where ‘cowboy’ is the common thread.

Tapping into the coastal cowgirl trend is all about elevating a look with Western-style accessories. We’re talking boots, hats, crossbody bags, and suede belts paired along with more feminine elements like floaty dresses, denim skirts, and floral prints. The aesthetic lends from two worlds to achieve a smart-casual look.

The main star of it all, though? The boots. You may have a perfectly good pair shoved in the back of your closet, but if you don’t, no worries. How to style cowboy boots

A good pair of Western boots can really be paired with anything, dressed up or down. In the winter, we’re looking at oversized slouchy sweaters and midi/maxi skirts. Straight-cut denim jeans & skirts are also really on trend at the moment.

When pairing cowboy boots with a denim skirt, you’ve got options. You can go for something a little flowier like a swing skirt, or you can opt for something more simple, like a straight-cut denim skirt. Bonus points for flair if that skirt sports a slight slit! If that sounds too dressed-down for your liking in winter, throw in a pair of tights.
