Hailing from the Cape Flats, Riana and Morgan have been dancing together for 4 years (since 2019) and alone for their whole lives. Jacobs, 18, and Achmat, 19, are now chasing their wildest dreams of reaching international acclaim and inspiring future generations to do the same, regardless of their backgrounds…
Riana and Morgan hail from the Bishop Lavis and Manenberg suburbs of Cape Town, often associated with high crime rates and gang activity. The dancing duo, however, is on a mission to prove that even in life’s most challenging areas and circumstances, individuals with untapped talent and big dreams exist and they want to be heard and seen!
As they dance their hearts out, the duo also hold down their studies. Achmat is pursuing his degree in business management and marketing, and Jacobs is studying nursing.

In order to turn their dreams of competing internationally into a reality, the duo are in need of financial aid to cover their flights, visas and accomodation. The determined couple have started hosting fundraisers to get themselves through to Germany.

“We are very passionate about dancing and this is indeed a dream come true; our blood, sweat and tears are finally paying off. Dancing takes lots of dedication and hard work because success requires dedication and consistency.”
