Former Miss South Africa and Miss World 2014 Rolene Strauss has welcomed her third child, a baby boy.
Strauss took to social media with the news on Monday, after she had given birth to a healthy baby boy on Sunday afternoon.
In her post, the newborn mom and beauty queen wrote:
“Our dearest love arrived yesterday afternoon 17:30 at 40 weeks and 4 days weighing 4.14kg 🤍”
Strauss adds that her partner, Daniel, and her mother were at her side throughout the journey.
The couple’s two sons drew hearts on her forearm before the birth, which Strauss lovingly says got her through labour, adding at the newborn’s big brothers adore him.

“We are both healthy, happy and healing. All praise to God!” wrote Strauss, adding: “Grateful for wonderful nurses and doctors, and my prayer warriors who never stopped praying.”
Strauss has been vocal about her pregnancy journey online, documenting her nesting process, as well as the physical changes and challenges that come with pregnancy.
In an Instagram post during the final month of her pregnancy, Strauss wrote:
“Although I can feel the toll a third pregnancy is taking on my body, overall, I’ve been blessed with healthy pregnancies and I wouldn’t change it for the world!”

Strauss and her partner announced that they were expecting in October last year. The newborn boy is the couple’s third child together.
