This one is for all the bubbly lovers! On the 31st of August and 1st of September, the Franschhoek Wine Valley is introducing us to a whole new way of enjoying the best of the Cape’s bubbly offerings, with a Cap Classique Safari that will take you from wine farm to wine farm to experience the sparkling adventure you deserve. Is there really a better way to spend the weekend?
The Franschhoek wine valley holds a special place in the country’s winemaking heritage as it is the birthplace of South Africa’s Cap Classique wine route. With 23 local producers, it’s the country’s largest and most impressive showcase of exceptional sparkling wines, coupled with picturesque vineyard vistas to truly engage all your senses all the while sipping on the universal celebratory drink of the world.
The 1st of September not only welcomes in the season of flowers and florals, it also marks International Cap Classique Day.

The weekend will be divided into pods and your tickets include transportation to and from the multiple vineyards, as well as entrance to the wine farms, and a sneaky little tasting at each. Each pod has been carefully curated to showcase a selection of renowned wineries:
Pod 1: Guests will visit Haute Cabriére, Black Elephant Vintners, Le Lude, La Bri, Wildeberg and Stony Brook.
Pod 2: This pod features Franschhoek Cellar, Grande Provence, Leopard’s Leap, La Motte and Rickety Bridge.
Pod 3: The third pod includes Dieu Donné, Klein Goederust, Boschendal, Allée Bleue and Anthonij Rupert Wyne.
To complement the day’s festivities, guests will enjoy a sumptuous lunch at select venues, including Haute Cabriere, Leopards Leap and Anthonij Rupert Wyne – offering a delightful interlude amidst the wine-filled adventures.
