In 2023, we welcome some fine international artists to perform in South Africa.
Here is a list of international artists will take to our stages this year.
Bryan Adams
Canadian singer Bryan Adams brings his So Happy It Hurts tour to South Africa in November 2023. As a result of the overwhelming demand for tickets, two additional dates have been added to the Cape Town and Pretoria leg of the tour. Tickets to the Cape Town performance at the Grand Arena, GrandWest on 7 and 8 November 2023 have already been sold out, while there are still tickets available for the Pretoria performances taking place on 10,11,12 November 2023 at the SunBet Arena, in Time Square.

Backstreet Boys
Best-selling boy band, Backstreet Boys, make their way to SA on the DNA World Tour in May 2023. Backstreet Boys is dubbed the best-selling boy band in history, after selling more than 130 million sales worldwide, within 29 years of producing some of the best pop music. The South African leg of the tour kicks off in Cape Town before heading to Pretoria.

UB40 Featuring Ali Campbell
UB40 returns to SA in May 2023. The band is known for their idiosyncratic British amalgamation of Jamaican reggae. UB40 is the name of the form that people would have to complete when they claimed their unemployment benefit, which prefaces the band’s mission of shedding light on issues experienced by the working class.
Older songs like ‘King’, which is about the legacy of Martin Luther King, the American Civil Rights leader, have been added to their setlist for this performance.

“We put King back into the set because it’s so bloody appropriate,” says Ali. “We wrote it 40 years ago, but it’s still representative of what’s happening in America. It’s depressing that nothing has changed. It’s the same with One In Ten in the UK. With the impact the coronavirus had on jobs, we could soon be looking at unemployment figures on a par with the early Eighties.”

George Ezra
British singer and songwriter, George Ezra is set to perform in South Africa in July 2023.
Two of Ezra’s albums reached number 1 in the UK charts and went 4x platinum and his third album garnered his third UK number 1.
