Key duties
- Overseeing all online content, including social media and weekly newsletters
- Managing and planning digital editorial content
- Produce original editorial content
- Schedule editorial and social media content
- Keep up to date with digital trends
- Brainstorm and produce various digital content that is fresh, relevant and on-trend
- Approve and schedule commercial content
- Brief in, manage all video content
Requirements
- Tertiary qualification in journalism, with a strong interest in the digital sphere, specifically social media
- 1 – 2 years’ experience in writing for a publication
- Excellent Afrikaans writing skills
- Organisational skills
- Proactive and self-disciplined
- Able to work accurately under deadline pressure.
- Be familiar with digital trends and work with the to constantly improve the digital numbers
