Listen up, ABBA lovers! Donna and the Dynamos will be returning to the stage in Cape Town and Johannesburg with a limited-season production of Mamma Mia this year!
A star-studded South African cast – including Gina Shmukler (Jesus Christ Superstar), Kate Normington (Tali) and Ilse Klink (Isidingo) will return to the stage as Mamma Mia’s Donna and the Dynamos for the first time in fourteen years.
Joining the dynamos on stage are Kiruna-Lind Devar (Evita, Phantom of the Opera, Simply Broadway) and Gianluca Gironi (The Sound of Music), as well as Emmanuel Castis (Isidingo, Jersey Boys).
The production, produced by Showtime Management, will open in Cape Town’s Artscape in March and move on to Montecasino’s Teatro Theatre in Johannesburg in April.
