Mr Price has just expanded to a new realm of offerings, adding stand-alone baby stores to its fleet of shops.

The retailer has launched a number of standalone baby stores across South Africa, ensuring a one-stop shop for essential items for the littlest ones, toddlers and children up to the age of seven. Mr Price originally released its baby clothing concept in stores at the end of 2020 before launching flagship stores all over the country nearly two years later.

Toys, feeding essentials, sleep goods, clothing, travel items and changing products are all on the cards either in-store or online (though selections may be limited).
Managing Director Donoval Baney shares that the new concept will “differentiate [Mr Price] from competitors through its famous fashion value formula.” More than that, some of the biggest brands for baby care including Pampers, Huggies, Purity and Avent will also feature in the stores alongside Mr Price’s own products.
