L’Oréal Paris proudly hosted three of South Africa’s own on Monday – Natasha Joubert, Thuso Mbedu and Bonang Matheba, as they made their appearances at the highly anticipated Le Défilé fashion show held in Paris under the “Iron Lady” – a statement towards femininity and feminism.
Natasha took her seat as a guest, while Thuso and Bonang stunned the runway.
This dazzling event, hosted on the enchanting esplanade of the Eiffel Tower for Paris Fashion Week, showcased a diverse and iconic lineup of personalities, including Helen Mirren, Eva Longoria, Kendall Jenner, Viola Davis, Camila Cabello, Katherine Langford, Elle Fanning, Aja Naomi King, Luma Grothe, Larissa Manoela, Cindy Bruna, and many more.
The show was broadcasted live on Instagram, YouTube, and, for the first time, spectators were able to experience it on Roblox.
The message of the show, “Walk Your Worth,” was designed to inspire all women to unapologetically show up in the world and walk toward their destiny in confidence.
Playing on the brand’s world-renowned tagline “Because You’re Worth It”, these four words reflect the importance of valuing your self-confidence and encourage every woman to tap into expressing their worth, to take the place they deserve in society and to make change happen.
Thuso Mbedu shimmered down the runway in a dazzling golden dress.
