Anlia Etzbeth – actress, singer, songwriter and wife to Springbok champ Eben Etzebeth – has shared images from her recent maternity shoot, looking as radiant as ever. Along with the snaps, Etzebeth shares a special message for her baby.
At week 36 of their pregnancy, Springbok couple Anlia and Eben Etzebeth are gearing up for the journey of a lifetime, as they prepare to welcome a third family member (and first child) to their brood.
The pregnancy announcement came on the victorious night of South Africa’s Bokke clenching victory at 2023’s Rugby World Cup. Stepping out onto the field to celebrate the win with Eben, Anlia revealed a growing baby bump – and South Africa rejoiced over having another ‘Elizabedi’ on the way.
On Friday 12 January, Anlia took to Instagram to share images from her maternity shoot at Sheffield Beach, where the couple reside, nearby Ballito.
The post opens with a special message for the baby:
“What an honour to hear your heartbeat tucked tightly beneath mine, to feel every little kick, stretch and hickup… to be a portal between Heaven and Earth for you to come and make us a family of three..”

The post continues with Anlia acknowledging the challenges she has faced throughout her pregnancy journey, but celebrates the strength these hurdles have equipped her with.
“It’s been a challenging couple of months for this soon-to-be mama, but I believe it has only made me stronger.”
At the time of writing, the Etzebeth’s are at their 36th week of pregnancy, with the little one due in February.
