Springbok champ Steven Kitshoff and his wife Aimee recently celebrated five years of unforgettable memories together as they settled into their new home in Ireland where Steven will join Irish rugby club Ulster for a three-year contract.
The Springbok prop and his wife first met over 10 years ago in 2011 at an interschool tournament. Their companionship quickly turned from friendship to love, and in December 2018, Aimee and Steven tied the knot with a beautiful wedding in the Cape Winelands.
In an interview with YOU, Steven says that he has learnt a lot from Aimee, who is a public relations and events manager:
“I never really knew how to answer questions or how to talk to people and it helped a lot just watching her and seeing how she did it.”
Kitshoff adds that his wife is his biggest supporter:
“She’s been there through the best and the worst of times. When I’m injured, she takes care of me. She’s amazing. She always gets me back on track.”
Recently, the couple celebrated five years of marriage, taking to social media to share tributes for one another.
