Luxity —South Africa’s largest pre-owned luxury reseller— has announced that it’s dropping the prices of high-end goods from the likes of Louis Vuitton, Chanel, Hermès, and Rolex. The cuts will be up to 50% at the annual Black Friday Sale.

How does this help sustainability?
Sustainable shopping means buying or reworking items so that they’ll last longer. Ie: You’re buying less in the long run. Pre-loved luxury is an especially durable market for this model because it isn’t making more luxury items. Instead, it’s finding items that already exist a new wardrobe to adorn. Think of it as the most fashionable form of recycling.
