In another Rugby win for South Africa, the Springbok Women made the nation proud at the Rugby Africa Women’s Cup, where they qualified for their spot in the 2025 Women’s Rugby World Cup.
The Springbok Women’s dominant performance against Madagascar (46-17) solidified their status as champions of women’s rugby in Africa.
The win automatically qualifies the team to represent the nation in the global Women’s Rugby World Cup in England in 2025.

Captain Nolusindiso Booi expressed the team’s commitment to inspiring the next generation of female rugby players.
“We play to inspire the next girl or woman to pick up a rugby ball and I think this win and qualifying for the Rugby World Cup will mean so much to those who want to see the game grow,” said Booi, as per Good Things Guy.
“We are on the big stage and belong there, so the next steps are important. We laid the foundation for the next phase and it is so exciting to be part of it. Credit to the players, but so much praise must go to the coaches who prepared us so well for this,” concluded Booi.
Head Coach Louis Koen added: “Qualifying for the Rugby World Cup is a massive boost to all involved and I can only thank the stakeholders, players and management who walked this journey together. The game can only grow and improve from here.”
Congrats to our fantastic Women’s Rugby team!
