A wedding dress adorned with a record-breaking number of Swarovski crystals has been unveiled by designer Michela Ferriero at the Si Sposaitalia Collezioni fashion show in Italy.
The dress boasts a total of 50,890 Swarovski crystals, setting a new Guinness World Record for the most crystals on a wedding dress.

The dazzling bridal dress took 200 hours over 4 months to create and features a tight-fitting silhouette and sweetheart neckline. Pairing with the gown, the designer also created matching gloves covered in crystals.

The dress-making process involved individually hand-sewing each crystal onto a fine tulle base.

This isn’t the first time a nearly-nude dress has been elevated with thousands of dazzling crystals…Back in 2014, Rihanna wore a rather a revealing dress covered in 50,000 pink Swarovski crystals. Michela Ferriero’s record-breaking dress boasts 890 more crystals, setting the new world record.
