Tatjana Smith shines for green and gold, as she claims back-to-back Olympic medals at the Paris 2024 Olympics.

On Thursday evening, SA’s Golden Girl scooped silver in the Women’s 200m Breaststroke, earning her second medal at the Paris Games.

The US’ Kate Douglass took gold for the Women’s 200m, touching the wall at 2.19.24. Smith claimed silver with a time of 2.19.60. Dutch swimmer Tes Schouten bagged bronze at 2.21.05.
Kaylene Corbett claimed seventh place in the Women’s 200m breast stroke.
The Silver win brings Smith’s overall Olympic medal to four – two silver, and two gold.

Tatjana’s second win at the Paris Games brings SA’s medal count to a total of 4, so far.
Smith received her first Paris 2024 medal on Monday, when she claimed gold for the Women’s 100m breast stroke – South Africa’s first gold of the games.
