Miss Tina Turner took the world by storm with her raspy voice and killer dance moves.
She also managed to turn heads wherever she went, with sparkles, shimmering across the stage and those legs.
It’s unfortunate that we have to say RIP to the queen of rock & roll, but in her 83 years on this earth, she’s definitely left her mark.

In the late 70s when Tina was finding her feet after leaving the abusive Ike Turner, she wanted her looks to tell her story. With the help of Bob Mackie once again, they created this look. “I looked like I was about to take flight and soar — which was exactly how I felt about being on my own for the first time,” Tina said in her memoir, That’s My Life.

Tina loved the theatrics of her costumes and she was known for her quick costume changes when performing live on stage. It wasn’t rare to spot Tina Turner covered in feathers.
