There’s no better combo than peanuts and chocolate. Throw in a few whole dates for texture, and you’ve got yourself a delicious snack similar to a Snickers bar with fewer calories, zero gluten or dairy, and minimal effort required! Sound like a sweet deal? These Snickers date bites are for you!
Of course, like many of the other snacks we now know and love (like yoghurt bark) we first discovered these healthy bites when they popped up on our FYP on TikTok. The recipe, posted by user @that.veganbabe, requires only four ingredients.
INGREDIENTS
- Medjool dates (as many as you want, we do batches of 10)
- Natural peanut butter
- A handful of peanuts
- Dark chocolate

METHOD
To make these tasty Snickers treats, @that.veganbake shares the following steps:
CUT a slit down the center of Medjool dates and remove seeds.
STUFF dates with creamy, natural peanut butter. If peanut butter is on the thicker end, pop in the microwave for a few seconds to soften up.
POP a few peanuts on top your peanut butter filling on every date for an added crunch. Pro tip: add a few extra bits of roast almonds for flavour!
DRIZZLE melted dark chocolate and flaky salt over dates and pop in freezer for chocolate to harden for 20 minutes and voila! Delicious Snickers date bites that cost you less calories and pack a nutritious punch.
