Lebo Malope has just turned 18 and has already found himself at the Pont Neuf bridge in Paris, walking the runway for Pharrell Williams’ debut Louis Vuitton collection, kickstarting Williams’ tenure as the brand’s menswear creative director.
Lebo is the brother of international model, Denetric Malope. Lebo walked his first international runway alongside his brother last year for Fendi’s Milan Fashion Week.

Denetric was headhunted at African Fashion International (AFI) in Melrose Arch and since then he has been found in multiple fashion campaigns and runways walking for Dolce & Gabbana, and Prada, to name but a few. Denetric has taken his brother Lebo under his wing in the fashion world and he is already making waves.
“When I travelled for the first time here (Milan) to work for Prada, I told my management there’s someone I know they might love so much because I knew he would do it bigger than me. After all, he’s younger, and he’s much more beautiful,” says Denetric about his brother, Lebo.

Pharrell Williams’ runway show was Lebo’s second for the luxury brand.
All eyes were on Lebo as front-row seats were filled with Hollywood’s A-listers. The audience included Hollywood’s power couple, Beyonce and Jay Z, as well as Zendaya, Kim Kardashian, Jared Leto, Jaden and Willow Smith, to name but a few.
Lebo Malope’s career has just about begun, but thanks to this runway, he will be recognised as a force to be reckoned with. Something tells me this is not the last we’ll hear of the Malope brothers.
