Beauty pageant enthusiasts in Mzansi are gearing up to witness the crowning of the next Miss World South Africa.
Following in the footsteps of the Miss South Africa pageant, this year’s Miss World South Africa event is set to take place at the State Theatre in Pretoria on the 28th of October, 2023.
Viewers can tune in to SABC 3 to watch the event live.
The event will run from 5:30 PM to 8:30 PM, viewers can expect to enjoy three hours of glamour and excitement as the pageant unfolds.

With contestants ranging in age from 17 to 26, a dozen remarkable young women will compete for the coveted Miss World South Africa crown. The winner of this competition will earn the honour of representing South Africa on the global stage, jetting off to India on the 9th of December for the 71st Miss World event.

Minnie Dlamini, a prominent media personality, has been announced as the official host for the Miss World South Africa events for the next two years. Dlamini, who previously participated in the Little Miss South Africa pageant in 2002, shared that she is looking forward to making both the organisation and its supporters proud.

Minnie Dlamini won’t be the only presenter, she’ll be joined by a team of co-hosts that include Zanele Morrison, Shirley van Wyk, and Thami Nkadimeng.
Adding to the prestige of the event is a fabulous panel of judges. The panel includes former beauty queen Realeboga Malatji, Dr. Rolene Strauss, who clinched the titles of Miss South Africa 2014 and Miss World 2014, as well as Daniel Asiwe, Dato Tiffanee Marie Lim, Dr. Norman Cahi, Ava Hall, and Sithembile Ntombela. Their wealth of experience and discerning eye for beauty and poise will play a pivotal role in selecting the next Miss World South Africa.
