First it was Kim Kardashian, and now it’s Zola Nombona entering the shapewear business. The South African actress, and now entrepreneur, has called the line LXVE (pronounced ‘love’) and launched its online store on Wednesday morning.
It’s all about LXVE
‘I can finally introduce you guys to this dream of mine that I have worked so hard to make a reality,’ Zola Nombona shared on Instagram as she posted the first image of her LXVE range. ‘Ndinyembezana looking at this picture as it means so much to me. It’s a physical manifestation of my dreams, hard work, falling, getting up, fighting and perseverance. This is love,’ she expressed.

It is clear that Zola is passionate about her newest endeavour. ‘Ndinyembezana looking at this picture as it means so much to me. And we love how body positive LXVE has positioned itself to be. She explained that LXVE is a ‘movement that celebrates bodies in all shapes and sizes while prioritising good quality, great functionality and comfort.’
What Zola Nombona has created
The LXVE launch collection includes seven items, ranging from full coverage firming briefs and thongs to a body suit and cincher suit. The sizes range from XS to 5XL with a few different colours available too. This positions Zola’s collection and brand as a truly all-inclusive and quintessentially South African entry in the world of shapewear.
